This wine has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections, it has a particularly fruity aroma of ripe cherries with balsamic and spicy notes. On the palate it is soft and full-bodied, with a refreshing, long and fruity finish. Perfect with elaborate meat dishes, cured meats,i, game and aged cheeses. You can also to serve with tuna steak or a typical Sicilian dish such as “Sarde a Beccafico”.

The grapes, harvested during the end of september, are pressed and fermented in stainless steel, in contact with the skins until completely fermented, in order to extract coloring matter. Malolactic fermentation  is carried out into barriques for 6 months and then bottled for a futher
maturation of 4 months.

Alcohol content: 14% vol.
