Tra tutte le isole, Salina \u00e8 certamente quella che pi\u00f9 delle altre ha saputo salvaguardare e valorizzare la produzione del vino Malvasia.<br \/>Qui si pratica quella che si definisce \u201c<b>viticoltura eroica<\/b>\u201d: l&#8217;impianto del vigneto, difficile per la morfologia del terreno, \u00e8 realizzato a terrazze con i tipici muretti a secco e costituito da piccoli appezzamenti con filari disposti su terreni scoscesi di origine vulcanica, ricchi di sostanze organiche e minerali. L&#8217;attuale nome deriva invece da un piccolo laghetto presente nella frazione di Lingua, dal quale si estraeva il sale.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tra tutte le isole, \u00e8 certamente Salina quella che piu\u2019 delle altre ha saputo salvaguardare e valorizzare la produzione del vino Malvasia.
